Trying Everything and Still NOT Pregnant?

It is rarely about trying harder.

It is about finding what has been missed.

What is An Integrated Fertility Clinic?

An integrated fertility clinic looks at more than whether you are ovulating, whether your fallopian tubes are open or whether a semen analysis falls within the expected range.

These investigations matter, but they do not always explain why getting or staying pregnant is proving difficult. Nor do they help you understand what you can do next.

Integrated fertility care brings the different parts of your fertility picture together.

It considers your medical history, menstrual cycle, reproductive health, nutrition, cellular health, emotional wellbeing, nervous system regulation and the experiences that have shaped your journey so far. Because this matters more than you think!

Rather than viewing each result, symptom or diagnosis in isolation, it helps you explore the connections between them and identify where further understanding or support may be needed.

An integrated fertility clinic gives you a choice.

It may offer:

* a different route before moving into medical fertility treatment,

* provide support alongside treatment, or

* help you reconsider what happens next when the options you have been given do not feel right for you.

You may have been told that your infertility is unexplained because your results appear normal, or you may have a diagnosis such as PMOS (formerly PCOS), endometriosis or a thyroid condition but still be left with questions that no one has answered. In either situation, there may be more to understand before deciding upon your next step.

When conventional investigations do not provide an explanation, women and couples can find themselves directed towards increasingly invasive and expensive fertility treatment because there appears to be nowhere else to go. This can carry a significant financial, emotional, mental and physical burden, particularly when treatment begins before they feel they fully understand their fertility or whether other possibilities have been explored.

Integrated fertility care offers another way of looking at the picture. It creates the time and space to examine what may have been overlooked, understand how different factors may be connected and bring together the support that is right for you. Because there is rarely one single thing that helps someone become pregnant, the aim is not to place you onto another standard pathway. It is to help you identify your missing pieces, understand your choices and decide what feels right for you—whether that ultimately involves natural conception, medical treatment or a combination of both.

You find me when:

You are exhausted.

Which means you don't feel heard

You are devastated.

Which means you haven't got the results you want

You are lost.

Which means you don't know who to turn to

You've done everything right. You've followed the protocols, taken the supplements, been through the appointments.

And you're still not pregnant.

This is not the end of your story. It's the moment you find the missing piece.

STILL NOT SURE?

Frequently Asked Questions

Why am I not getting pregnant even through all my tests are 'normal'?

"Normal" is one of the most painful words in fertility. Not because it is wrong exactly, but because of what it leaves behind. You came looking for answers. You went through the process, had the tests, waited for the results, and then were handed a word that was supposed to be reassuring BUT instead left you with nowhere to go. If everything is normal, why is this not happening? And if there is no explanation, does that mean there is no solution?

No. It means the right questions have not yet been asked.

Standard fertility investigations measure specific things at specific moments. They offer a snapshot. What they do not measure is the full picture of what is happening in your body, for example the quality of ovulation, the health of the uterine environment, the role of inflammation, the impact of chronic stress on hormonal regulation, the way your nervous system and emotional state are quietly influencing your physiology every single day. A blood test cannot tell you any of that. And yet all of it matters.

Unexplained infertility is one of the most common fertility diagnoses in the UK, which is itself worth pausing on. When unexplained becomes a category rather than an admission that something has been missed, women are left carrying a label that explains nothing and offers nothing. That is not good enough.

There is almost always more to understand. The body is communicating something. And when the right time and care is taken to look at the whole picture (not just isolated results, but your cycle, your history, your emotional landscape, your physiology) a different and far more complete picture often begins to emerge.

If you have been told everything is normal and something still does not feel right, trust that instinct. It has not been properly explored. And finding the right person to look at the whole picture with you, someone who understands not just the tests but everything the tests cannot see, can change everything.

Can you help naturally before IVF?

The answer is YES. Some women work with me before deciding whether IVF is right for them, while others use support alongside IVF, IUI or ICSI. Integrated fertility care gives you the opportunity to understand and prepare your body, explore what may have been missed and make a more informed choice about your next step.

Having said that, many of my clients have come to me after several unsuccessful IVF attempts and have subsequently become pregnant naturally. So if you feel you would like to work with me before any reproductive therapy, that is no problem.

Support may include fertility acupuncture, cycle tracking education, emotional wellbeing support, nervous system regulation, lifestyle guidance, and understanding what your body may be communicating through your symptoms and cycle patterns.

Do you support women with PCOS, endometriosis, thyroid conditions, or irregular cycles?

Absolutely. Many of the women I support have been diagnosed with PCOS, endometriosis, hypothyroidism, irregular or painful periods, or have been told their age or BMI may affect their fertility. Others have been missed entirely.

These conditions do not automatically mean pregnancy is impossible - despite what you may have been told!, and they don't mean IVF is your only or best option. Your body is not working against you, it may simply need the right support, understanding, and environment.

My fertility support combines advanced midwifery knowledge, specialist - fertility acupuncture, emotional support, and evidence-aware complementary therapies to help women reconnect with their cycles, improve wellbeing, and move forward feeling heard, informed and supported.

Is there anyone who actually understands what fertility struggles feel like?

You are exhausted in a way that is very difficult to explain to anyone who has not been here. It is not just the physical exhaustion, although that is real — the appointments, the medications, the two week waits, the blood tests, the scans, the procedures. It is the kind of exhaustion that comes from living inside a process that never fully switches off. From waking up and feeling it before you have even opened your eyes. From watching your body for signs, tracking every symptom, analysing every twinge, and still not knowing. From doing everything you have been told to do and still arriving at the same place.

There is grief in this that often goes unnamed. Grief for the pregnancies that did not continue. Grief for the versions of this journey you imagined before it became what it is now. Grief for the woman you were before fertility became the thing that defines every decision, every month, every conversation you are afraid to have.

Then there is the loneliness of sitting in waiting rooms surrounded by other women who look like they are holding the same silent weight, and still feeling utterly alone. The loneliness of trying to explain to people who love you why you cannot just 'relax', why you cannot just stop thinking about it, why another friend's pregnancy announcement feels like something you have to quietly survive.

The worst is the deep despair of having lost trust in your own body. Of having moved from a place of hope into a place where your body has stopped feeling like something that belongs to you and started feeling like something that is letting you down. Nobody told you it would feel like this. Nobody in a clinic or a consultation room has ever sat with you, sat in the desperation, despair and isolation.

And there is the question underneath all of it (the one you might not say out loud) which is whether anyone in this process actually sees you. Not your test results. Not your diagnosis. Not your BMI or your AMH or your cycle day. You.

The answer to that question is what this work is built upon.

If you would like to know what that can look like in practice, you can read Lowri's story here - eight years, every obstacle imaginable, and eventually her little boy. And if you have not yet watched Jen share her experience above, her words may meet you exactly where you are right now.
