IT START's HERE...
Your Pregnancy Journey
Pregnancy should feel magical…
…but too often it feels medicalised, stressful, or unsupported.
Pre-Conception Care - Preparing for Pregnancy

IS YOUR BODY READY FOR THE JOURNEY?
You wouldn’t go on holiday without careful planning, choosing the right destination, packing essentials, and making sure everything is in place for a smooth trip. So why should your pregnancy journey be any different? Before diving into "baby-making" mode, it’s important to ensure your body is in the best condition to support a healthy pregnancy.
Healthy Pregnancy = Healthy Baby
Just as you prepare for a holiday to make it as enjoyable and stress-free as possible, preparing your body for pregnancy helps lay the foundation for a smoother, healthier journey. The choices you make now—before conception—have a profound impact on your pregnancy, birth, and baby’s wellbeing.
When you are considering have a baby these are the things you need to consider.
- How do I know my egg and the quality of sperm is good? (clue - this is not through GP tests)
- Is my period normal? (clue -no pain, clots, lasting between 26-32 days)
- Is my menstrual cycle optimal? (clue - lasting 4-6 days, one per month, are ALL 4 phases good)
- How do I know I am ovulating? (clue - not by using an app or a kit as they can be wrong especially if you diagnoses with or suspect PCOS)
How long should I try for and when should I be concerned?
Most experts recommend trying to conceive for at least one year if you're under 35 and 6 months if you're over 35 before seeking medical advice. However, medical parameters do not consider you individually, holistically or emotionally, so before you jump into the medical world, book a consultation to see if you are communicating with your body and whether it is telling you to TWEAK anything.

I provide expert compassionate care throughout your pregnancy and postnatal period.
